Nadia Szold is an award-winning American filmmaker and writer. Her first work as a director was at 17 when she founded the theater troupe Cojones Company. She directed 14 plays performed in New England and New York City before embarking on her work in film. Her first feature Joy de V., starring Evan Louison and Claudia Cardinale, premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival in 2013 to critical acclaim and a nod from the jury. A Film Independent Fellow, Nadia Szold world premiered her first documentary feature "Larry Flynt for President" at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival to love from the audience and critical acclaim. It has since been touring festivals and picking up awards.
